More media hate.......
The New York Giants are off to a horrendous start in proving, through the second half of the season, they have what it takes to be among the top contenders from the NFC. It was bad enough that they lost to the Minnesota Vikings, 24-21, at Giants Stadium. It was worse that they lost by allowing the Vikings to return a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown, and by permitting the Vikes to drive for Paul Edinger's winning field goal with 10 seconds left. There simply is no excuse for such an effort. Eli Manning looked like the young, raw quarterback that he is rather than the extraordinarily steady performer he had been through much of the first half of the season. He was intercepted four times (with Darren Sharper returning one for a touchdown), to go along with one touchdown pass. Brad Johnson only threw for 144 yards, with no scores, and the Vikings offense did nothing on the ground. But it didn't matter on a day when Minnesota's special teams and defense produced three touchdowns. The Vikings actually should have had six more points, but Edinger missed a pair of field goals. The Vikes' rebound from their nightmarish first half of the season is admirable, but this game was more about the Giants' ineptitude.

Re: More media hate.......
We really didn't play an overall great game but we played as a team and the balls bounced our way for once. I for one could care less what this writer thinks.

"24 mil under the cap? there are teams 30 mil over the cap, heck that gives us at least 50 mil to spend"

You seriously think you played a great game? In that case I hope you play "great" the rest of the year because you won't win another game.purplepride.org: Home of Disillusioned Vikings Fans World-wide
