Big shocker. ESPN has such a love affair with the Wankees and Blow Sox. It makes me sick. The only announcers that every would say anything about the small market teams, Twins and As etc, were Gammons and Harold. Both of which are gone :sad:

On a side note: Anybody hear how Gammons is doing?

I have an idea that will almost guarantee the Yanks another WS title.... Spend MORE money! Spend it like it's going out of style. Buy up every big name player thats not already on your roster and play some ball!!! Steal some talent away from the smaller markets who can't afford the 800 Billion dollar payroll. Sounds like a great way to keep things competitive!!

With that said, congratulatons on your recent success. I think I'd rather be fighting Boston for a wild card spot than the Yankees anyways.

I check out the Power Rankings every week. They finally put the Tigers on top, and 2 weeks later they're behind the Yanks. Just gonna have to win it back by doing sweeter than the Yankees (although that might not do anything because we already are! OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!)

im glad, but i would have to disagree with the twins at #3. theyre up after sweeping the royals, not like they swept the rangers/angels/redsox/yankees. the royals....come on. now if they sweep the tigers at detroit, that would deserve a #1 ranking and im planning on attending the world series parade - highly unlikely but im hopefull!
