Anthony "The Bullet" Bonsante is on the new hit reallity show "The Contender". Although in it's fourth(?) week on the air, Tony has yet to fight. Although that could change tonight at 7:00!

For those of you that don't know who Tony is, read on and/or click the link below. Although his Bio states that his "hometown" is Shakopee, Minnesota(current residence), Tony grew up and graduated from Crosby-Ironton. C-I is also my hometown and why I'm bias about this article. Our Mothers where friends when we were small kids, and athough four years older than me, we played together. Although I don't remember ever getting my a$$ kicked as kids, I have seen him fight twice at Grand Casino Hinckley and he is a "Bullet". Very quick. Not much of a "specimen", as they say in football, but he won both fights I saw and later won the "IBA Middleweight Championship"

In Conclusion, I'm not sure if he fights in tonights episode or not, but it is a good program non the less. Once again, it's on at 7:00pm (Central) every Sunday.

Update for future readers. Tony was not chosen to fight tonight....stay tuned, maybe next sunday.

note: the entire show, with the exception of the final fight in Las Vegas, NV, as already been filmed. And No, nobody knows who's going to L.V. I think all fighters signed agreements not to talk about it.

:grin: I have heard through the grapevine that he'll be fighting on The Contender tonight. Athough there is much speculation, who wins is still unknown. :grin:
