Mickey D's food from around the globe

Interesting stuff!Royale with Cheese?
Posted May 18, 2007
That’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Sure, you probably know in France that McDonald’s serves the Royale with cheese (thanks to the famous scene in Pulp Fiction) but did you know that McDonald’s all around the world offer a number of different items catering to their cultures?
Ok, you might’ve known. But you might not know exactly what they serve.
Here’s some of your McDonald’s options in countries all over the world.
(Zeus note:
here's an example)
In some locations in the Maritime Provinces of Canada McDonald’s offers a lobster roll called a McLobster (McHomard in French). In the province Quebec, McDonald’s also offers poutine which is fries with gravy and cheese. In Toronto, McDonalds has sold pizza called the McPizza in the early 1990s.

Re: Mickey D's food from around the globe
Is it lunchtime yet?
There are several McDonald's arond the nation that have unique items.
A few years ago I had a pizza at an Indiana McDonald's.
Then we stopped at a fireworks/cigarettes/alcohol store there also.
Interesting store.
Also there are Pizza Huts that have Ribs (Ribs deserves a capitalization).
Wanna try those still.
All the kids my age pee their pants, it's the coolest.

In Hawaii, I am told you get pineapple with your value meals.
Here in Nodak, you can get fries with gravy at most of the KFCs.
Ask for that down south and they look at you like you just sprouted a second head.Zeus wrote:

Re: Mickey D's food from around the globe
In New Delhi you can get a Chicken Maharaja Mac along with your Paneer Salad Wrap.
On a flight last week from Delhi to Chicago, the guy next to me survived 6 months through different parts of India without getting sick.
His last meal before getting on the plane was from McD's in New Delhi and he was sick for the whole flight (15 hours worth)... he was a moaner too... miserable.

Re: Mickey D's food from around the globe
I used to eat mcdonalds pizza. KFC McDonalds Burgerking, they all have poutine in my hometown in ontario (actually not sure if mc-dinks does anymore). Poutine is a big favourite up here and it's hard to find a place who doesn't have it, even pizza shops serve poutine. Arn't the egg mcmuffins different at one point going south too? eventually the english muffins turn into yellow biscuits..
