Re: Michael Jackson verdict
I definitely did not care one way or the other ... without being in the courtroom there really are not enough facts to make a call, but being in the news business, it would have been much bigger news if he was guilty ...

Re: Michael Jackson verdict
Maybe in another ten years they'll find him guilty, who knows?

Re: Michael Jackson verdict
Did anyone notice that the crowd outside the courthouse cheering for Michael was predominantly white?
Do you think that the African-American society has rejected Michael in favor of acts (50 Cent, P. Diddy, Usher) that they feel represent them better than Moonwalker did?Have you ever seen a race of turtles, and they all go the wrong way instead of towards the finish line?
Welcome to the NFC North.

Michael Jackson is still the pride of the black community. He was the first artist to break the color barriers on MTV, he has the greatest selling album of all time, and has donated/raised over 600 million dollars to fight AIDS in Africa, and to raise awareness of black history and crises that are afflicting colored persons of the world today.
Michael Jackson was not guilty and was proven to be not guilty today in court. This is a great day for all of us (myself included) who call themselves his fans. He was/is the greatest singer/arranger/performer of all time, and I for one am quite pleased that he is finally free of such allegations.
And for those of you whom are the unwashed majority, Michael Jackson has an autoimmune disorder called vitiligo which kills the melanocytes in its host. Michael Jackson is not white by choice, as some would say, but by disease.

I can give you links if you want, but I just did my final paper for my Biology course at University of Chicago on his case of the disease specifically.

if jacko didn't do this then i'm happy that he got off. although, i think it would have been funny to see him go to jail but how can anyone be a fan of a weirdo who admits to sleeping with children? don't you people find that just a little bit disturbing?
