Memorial Day Salute
Tommorrow is a day set aside to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and people. Personally, this is my favorite holiday. No, I am not celebrating the loss of brave men and women who have given their lives for this great nation. I believe this holiday carries a lot of weight concerning the courage, bravery, and dedication of those who unselfishly defended America and our freedom. I always make sure my children are aware of the sacrifices made by so many to ensure our way of life. I have always felt very strongly about this and the flag; which was the principle motivation for me to have the honor of serving in the military.
Lets remember those and their families who have lost their lives for our country and remember those who are currently serving. May god bless them all!

Re: Memorial Day
The men and women that gave their life in order that we may live free should always be held in the highest regard and will never be forgotten.
Sacrifice.
I know nothing of sacrifice compared to the families that have lost loved ones in order for us all to be free and safe. Heroes are many and thousands died for what they truly believe in.
Freedom.
Be thankful that we have such brave men and women and do so every chance you get. At least always give them a smile and a nod! Trust me, it will mean alot.
We as Americans sometimes forget how easy we have it and take alot of luxuries for granted. Remember to be hold your freedom in it's highest regard. Be proud that you are an American.
Peace and Rememberance
If you ever get the chance to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, do it.
It's very moving. :usa2: :usa2:

My fellow Vikes fans-
Let us not forget the true meaning Memorial Day...The Ultimate Sacrifice that many servicemen and service women have given so that we may live free. Remember all of the men and women that at this moment are working on our shores and overseas to keep America free! May God bless them all, and my God bless America!!

Re: Memorial Day Salute
AMEN - and may God bless the brave men and women who continue to serve this nation without thought of what they may or may not get in return! Unselfish is the term I would use to describe the men and women of today's military - may they stay safe, out of harm's way, and to those who have died in the line of duty and in service to this great and FREE country, I only say this: God bless you!
:salute:

Switch over in your profile to the new theme, PPO, and see the memorial day salute and song at the top of every page. Kind of a tradition around here.
