Re: McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson, Mays........pp.o death pool
Al Davis?
Keith Richards?
Are either of them still breathing?I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

His actions had far more impact on life in this country and around the world than Michael Jackson, but since he was a governmental type and not an entertainer, the focus will remain on Jacko.Robert McNamara, Vietnam War-era defense secretary, dies at 93

WASHINGTON -- Robert McNamara, the cerebral secretary of defense who was vilified for carrying out the Vietnam War, then devoted himself to helping the world's poorest nations, died today. He was 93.
In a Jan. 21, 1992 photo, former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara gestures during a news conference in Washington. McNamara died at 5:30 a.m. at his home, his wife Diana told The Associated Press. She said he had been in failing health for some time.
For all his healing efforts, McNamara was fundamentally associated with the Vietnam War, "McNamara's war," the country's most disastrous foreign venture, the only American war to end in abject withdrawal rather than victory.

Long Island, NY Congressman Peter King's take on the media coverage of Michael Jackson's death vis a vis other more deserving people:
