No, they should have fired him many years ago. After the twolves win no more than 15 games this year I think there is a chance that it will happen.

Does not sound like either of those players wanted to be on the team any longer after Garnett was traded to Boston, so this trade isn't horrible IMO. We got a future first round pick out of it and a vet presence on an otherwise young team.

I don't know what will end up happening with the wolves in 08, but at least they are attempting to get better instead of putting a team out there that had proven time and time again that they could not go all the way. We have some young promising talent on this team. Let's see what we can do with it.

I canceled my NBA Pass this for this year.
I had to make time to watch it the last few years and I knew I wouldn't want to make time this year.
Not a bandwagoneer or a fairweather fan.
I will still follow them, I am just not going to pay the NBA this year.
I might try to get some tix to the Rockets Wolves game when they hit town.

Decently smart trade. Blount was not good at all and Davis didn't really want to stick around. This gives our younger players a chance to step up. Fortunately, McHale is finally realizing that building through the draft and picking up key FA's to go with your young players is the way to build a franchise. this team will suck in 08 flat out but they will get a lotto pick and will begin their rebuilding with a young roster.

im glad we got rid of blount and davis, but i didnt want walker gross... i hope he barely plays and at least we got a 1st round pick

It kinda sounds like the only reason we agreed to take him was because of the pick. I think they probably would have given blount and davis for a 2nd but to take walker they had to make it a 1st.
