Looks like he will be back strong for the 06 season. Exciting to have him back to improve our inconsistent but improving line.

PFT: Do you want to retire with the Vikings?

Birk: Oh, absolutely. I was born here, I'll die here. I don't want to leave.

Having Birk back will be an instant upgrade to the offense. I think it was losing him more than Moss that hurt our offense this past year.

I thought this was a very positive interview, and nice to see Birk is talking like PeP will be back for sure....

Maybe he knows something we don't...

This will be a big key to our success this year coming, we need everyone to be healty, 100%...espeicaly the line and and RB's.....I can see PeP being a little less mobile, and not wanting to or told not to, take off running.....

But Birk sounds positive, and he is a very key person in our Offense....We missed him very much this year.....and it showed

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

Yeah, with Birk back healthy and us picking up some key FA's on O-Line, that will be an awesome O-Line. If Culpepper comes back, then he should do very well with a new line where he has time to make his reads and pass the ball without be rushed..
