    how do you let yourself go like that? one day you have to wake up and relize that not being able to walk may have something to do with the fact that you weigh as much as a mamoth.

    How did he go from 290lbs at age 22 to 1,200lbs at age 40? He gained 910lbs in 18 years, and don't know how? If I weighed 290lbs at age 22, and I started gaining weight, I would do something about it.. I am shocked that this guy isn't dead right now.. At 1200lbs, he has to have all kinds of medical problems.. He should go for gastric bypass surgery. Hope everything goes well for the guy..

    Ya gotta feel bad for him. I'm big enough as it is (360 lbs.), I can't imagine being that big. I wouldn't want to live. I hope he gets the help he needs.

    Who knows what happened? For all we know he has a medical problem with his thyroid that caused his massive weight gain. It's not always a question of simply watching what you eat or exercising more.
