He may want to seriously look at playing the lottery. Talk about lucky to only really get a Broken leg as his most serious injury.

Re: Man survives 17-story fall
Wow,
An incredible story for sure.
Amazing he's not dead..
I remember reading a story about a soldier who fell from a bomber, I think is was during WWII, fell something like 8,000 ft.
Landed in a grove of pines trees and one tree broke his fall, he ended up with a broken leg and some broken ribs, if I remember correctly, but he survived also......Talk about luck....

, good thing Del didn't show up in Mpls because I think my room was only on the 15th floor....my plan was to push him out the window....if he would have lived I would have been dead.

Look for the good in all of that... no one would have had to bail you out of jail :P

Re: Man survives 17-story fall
Not sure where I read the fact once, but if I'm not mistaken, no matter how high you fall from, you can only obtain a certain speed and thats it.....Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember right, it was something like 120 mph.....
Still, a fall from that high, 17 stories up, you would figure that has to be like a 1 in a million chance to live thru it......
Hell, you can fall only 6 feet and kill yourself, if you landed the wrong way......That guy needs to go to church tomorrow....
What I'de really like to know is what he felt like and what his thoughts where during the fall.......

Re: Man survives 17-story fall
Cool story though.
CG, I thought you were going to bail me out if need be....my guess is that you would have let me rot in jail and probably would have smuggled in a laptop so I could see you and others laughing your asses off about me doing hard time.Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
