RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - After 3,272 miles of exhaustion, sunburn, delirium and piranhas, a 52-year-old Slovenian successfully completed a swim down the Amazon River Saturday that could set a world record for distance â€” something he's already done three times before.

Seriously though....if I am going to try this feat (To set the record straight...I AM NOT)....
I would be bringing my own medical team with me...and not counting on some third world medics to save me from a heart attack!

I have seen enough Discovery Channel to know that a MASH tent is more sanitary then third world hospitals!

did any of you "locals" happen to cheer him on??
