RAVENNA, Mich. (WZZM) - Teammates in his bowling league think after rolling a perfect 300 game Don Doane's heart just gave out.
"You get nervous shooting a 300," says teammate Todd Place. "The pressure keeps building," says bowling alley owner Jim Nutt.
Minutes after achieving the life long goal of a perfect game the 62 year old bowler collapsed and died at Ravenna Bowl in Ravenna. "Don just collapsed," says alley owner Nutt. " At first we thought he just fainted." "Then when I rolled him over I realized it wasn't good," says teammate Place.

You bust your ass for years trying to achieve your ultimate goal, only to be knocked dead moments later...crazy.

Re: Man Bowls a 300 then dies
I wonder how often this happens, or a guy is somewhere along the way to a perfect game. I mean most bowlers are older out of shape(sorry for the stereotype if your a bolwer). I imagine my heart would be racing by the 8th or 9th frame, the pressure would be intense(especially if you'd dreamed about it for years).

He no longer has to deal with this reality in which we exist... so it can't be too bad.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.
