Malcolm Little was a valued member of the NOI, who didn't want coexsistence of whites and black but rather freedome to segregate and remain equal. In other words they wanted to be free and remain segregated.

Detroit Red only left NOI after he all but said he was glad JFK was assasinated and they (NOI) placed a censor on him.

I have no idea what we are voting for, but to me Malcolm little was less influential, less effective, and more destructive.

Not a fan of Malcom Little, he did change his life around I guess at the end and spoke out against the NOI and embraced a more peaceful route. That of course lead to his death when he was gunned down by black men who were memebers of NOI.

SO again I have no idea wtf your asking. Am I choosing one to play HB? Am I choosing one to go fishing with? They both lived they both died and they both made an impact.

Good joke that I heard around the time that Spike Lee made "Malcolm X":

Your mamma is so fat that when they gave her a Malcolm X jacket, a helicopter tried to land on her back!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Wow so we are obligated to like someone?

    That seems kinda............ummmmm intolerant.

The person was just being honest.
You present it as a loaded response.

And that is what I find most intersting indeed.

Wasn't it an either or question to begin with? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions of course. I think Lotza and I are just asking him what does he mean? lol

I am askingwho do you respect most, and who you would been most like in that period of time. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this is not a thread to start conflicts.

    Lets see:

Race, minorities, equal rights, violence....I do not see where a conflict may start.

    /sarcasm off.

But for the sake of arguement, I will agree with pretty much everybody else in this thread and say MLK jr. It is actually a little disrespectful to the late Dr. King, IMO, to even try and compare the two.
