Madden 2007 to have new Vikings Uniforms??

God, I hope so. The game ships on 08/01/06. They have four months to tweak the game & hopefully they do not forget about this. That would be off tha hook if they added them in. At least its not tooo last minute

~ True, the top rookies are probably done, but just need to be thrown on the right teams. You know the developers are looking closely at the pics of the new Vikings stuff & getting ready. They gotta make last years uniforms into "throwbacks". Now that I thought about it, my Winfield Jersey from last year qualifies as a Throwback! Sweet!

You can count on them being in there. As a developer myself, I can say that it isn't that hard to put new uniforms on a team. It is all templated anyway, and the different UI is just added to the template. That is how you can create your own custom uniforms in the game too.

They will simply add the new uniform template to the team and move the old ones to a "throwback" catagory.

As someone who was (but no longer) employed by E.A. Sports and actually has worked on Madden in the past, i can assure you that the new uniforms will be in the game. Every year the teams have to submit a style guide so everything can correct in the game. Computer game companies always get it before the new uniforms/logos are even made public so they have a heads up. I remember the year the Bills had their new uniforms and I was the one that had to make sure they were apperaing in the game correctly, oh man was i dissapointed in those, and not to mention soooo sick of looking at them.

So again, rest assured, they will be in there for sure, but it will be interesting to see if a purple on purple combo will be available in the game since the vikings have not yet shown a purple on purple combo.

game doesnt come out til august..they will definitely be in there..arizona had their new ones in last years version

I'll be VERY upset if they don't have our new uniforms in Madden 2007.

But I'm not worried about it because I know they will, EA Sports does a good job with keeping the game updated.

Besides, too many people buy this game, for them not to have it as accurate as possible.
