Shall we mourn..?
Oh well. Its hard to stay with hockey living in Cleveland.
Hockey tried to become the fourth major sport, and then realized its a niche sport, just a step above soccer.
Also, I think NASCAR stole a lot of their audience.
Now, they're trying to get the salaries back down to "niche level" sport, and the players don't like that idea.
Oh, well. NHL will go up in flames and be reinvented from scratch.
no Hockey?? ohhhhhh no... let me grab a kleenex
I am not a big hockey fan either. I think it has something to do with the hockey mentality. Here is a little tune summing up my impression of Hockey fans.
Me Like Hockey
by one of my favorite groups the Arrogant Worms. :thumbleft:
Now that hurts RK.
I have recently (last 5 yrs) become a major Hockey fan. I have been watching hockey on and off for years but, it wasn't until I went to my first game that I was really hooked.
I'll agree that it's a difficult game to watch on TV, I say to that however, just go to one game before you write it off.
"He shoots, He Scores!!!"
Till now the only sport that had not been poisened. Sucks bad.
A fast game it is, Hockey never intrigued me enough. I thought Golf was the most boring game until I played Tiger Woods '03 and then '05.. I got addicted to it like it was cocaine.

Not in its current state...all those millionaires had better wake up and smell the coffee...fans will only take so much and then they will move on. The NHL and the players are both teetering on the edge of that.Quote:
