    Little League world series!

I dont know if anyone at least was watching this but Hawaii won the Little League world series against Curacao. Its a big thing here and they are alway on the front page of the newspaper.

They represented hawaii and the U.S well.
This was like my first baseball game i ever watched since im not too fond of baseball.

ANd it was pretty exciting game too. Hawaii trailed 6-3 in the last innning and came back to tie it, sent it to overtime and win there.

    Anyone else saw this game???

Sure did, the cometition has been shown here on NASN - which shows all North American sports.
Watched the game against California and then saw the game against Curacai live.
Well done to the kids they played well and deserve the win - first time I've ever seen any little league games and was well impressed with the standard of play - importantly was that the kids looked to be enjoying themselves as well which is important at that age.

They mentioned that one of the parents quit his job to see his kid play- as his company wouldn't give him unpaid holiday - and ABC asked if there was anyone that could help him - do you know if anything has come of that TV plug at all ?

That was a great game! Probably the best final I've seen. FYI, Ewa Beach was the first team west of the Mississippi since Long Beach won 6-0 by forfeit over the Phillipines back in 1994 (The things you learn from me!).

Mad props to the team from Hawai'i!!!

They were the team that eliminated my Lafayette Cardiac Cajuns in the semis...so I was rooting for them to go all the way...and they did so with style and aplomb!!!

I guarantee you that the guy, forget his name will get a job for sure. As soon as the team arrives tonight, someone in the big crowd awaiting the plane will automatically give the dad a job. Even the radio stations told everyone to give this guy a job, hes dedicated to his family.

I watched most of it as well. The kid with the curly locks was a real fireball. One the announcers called him a linebacker. It suited him for sure.
    Go USA and GO Hawaii!!!
    Where is Ewa Beach?

Good ! about time some of these companies realised that people only work for their families and that they're the important thing in life - not work !

Ewa Beach is not far from the airport, about say 20 mins from the airport, still on the leeward side of oahu.

Ya that pitcher, Vonn Feao, he played with a streak. His idol is ray lewis and i believe he does play linebacker for one of ewa's football teams.
