Yeah, doesn't make for solid reasoning. Anytime someone pools a group of people together to make a point the masses usually stop listening due to all the exceptions to the rule. We're in this together, whether we're republican, democrat, independent, or any other affiliation. Once we start pointing fingers and lose site of the source the discussion gets cloudy. Kind of like, 'It's Tices' fault'...

i personally would rather see eligible people receive vouchers for childcare and they could send their kids to whatever education/day-care program suited their interests, whether it is religious or secular.

Cajun you are still using that left wing policy to frighten people to vote for your policies. You know there will never be a law like that but you need to scare sam dawg into believing the zealot police are on his door step. Pretty low!!

Do Cathlic and Jewish schools get federal money? (I am not sure... Im asking.) If so, then I have no problem with this. All that seperation of Church and State means is there is no officially sanctioned state religion. On the other hand... What if someone wanted to start a preschool for the children of satanic or wicca parents? Would they also be entitled to the same federal money? This is a tough one...

The problem with Church is all fun and games until some weird cult gets in power. Look at the Jim Jones massacre,WaCo, and Heaven's Gate.
