Legally blind golfer, 85, gets ace
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080412/ap_on_fe_st/glf_blind_hole_in_one;_ylt=AqibwZrlzs03Q2bLJw7pmEM sQE4FGREEN VALLEY, Ariz. - An 85-year-old legally blind golfer from southern Arizona made a hole-in-one this week on a par-3 course. Robert Dunham accomplished the feat on the third hole at Tortuga in Green Valley.
Playing with a group of fellow blind veterans enrolled in a Veterans Affairs health care system program, Dunham's volunteer assistant lined him up with the ball, handed him a 9-iron and stepped back.....

I actually had to much club. Would've went way over the green if I would have hit it clean, however, I chunked it out of the box.
Wound up rolling right in.
No skill involved.
I have been close a couple of other times though and won a case of beer in a tournament for closest to the hole (6").
I was drunk that day so luck probably had something to do with it as well.
Long story short, yours will come my friend.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I can get an eagle on one whole and a sextuple bogie on the next.

They used to have one here in Austin (maybe they still do),
that allowed you to remove a stroke from your score for every beer you drank.
The big drinkers usually beat out the good golfers.
Talk about a bunch of messed up people.
A company I used to work at used to sponsor teams for charity golf tournaments.
One year they chose the Yellow Rose Golf Classic.
The Yellow Rose is a strip club.
They had strippers all over the golf course and especially on the greens.
Made it pretty hard to concentrate on some of the putts, although some ladies did help funnel the putts into the hole.
Too bad it only made it one year, CEO got a few complaints from some of the customers who were invited to play and that was the end of it.

I also participated in a Navy tournament were you had a newly selected Chief as your caddy.
He had to not only drink with you but for you if you weren't very thirsty.
Again, that practice is frowned on a bit these days.

The Yellow Rose idea sounds like a good one as well, but would probably be frowned on by most companies especialy the one I work for now.
