    Leadership and Self Development Books

Hey i was wondering if anyone knows about any good self development and leadership books out there.

I'm really huge on self improvement especially in the industry im working in leadership books are really good. I was wondering if anyone had any preferences or good referrals for me.

So far i've read Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think and Grow Rich, The 21 Indespensible Qualities of Leadership, How to win friends and influence people.

I want to get the 21 irrefutable laws of leadership but haven't done so yet.

So anyone have any good feedback?

"Now, Discover Your Strengths" is a great book by Marcus Buckingham and Donald O. Clifton. It is designed to help you figure out what your unique strengths and talents are, and how to develop and strengthen those qualities within yourself as well as those around you.

Also, I'm not sure where you stand on the issue of developing as a man of faith, but John Eldredge is an amazing Christian writer. He talks about a lot about our Desired, and how so many men today have become so caught up in Duty, chores, work, being "good", etc. that we have lost focus on the "adventure" that God has planned for us. He writes books such as "Wild at Heart", "Journey of Desire", "Sacred Romance", and "Waking the Dead". All of them are AMAZING books!

I'm big into exploring reality and the human consciousness. One book I really enjoyed was Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot... absolutely mind blowing book. It discusses physics and theories about the reality which we exist.

I'm not a religious person, but I'm spiritual... I believe people confuse the two very often.

You could try The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey, The One Minute Manager (good book about leadership), Good to Great, or Who Moved My Cheese (short book about change).

That's sweet man! If you are interested Eldredge has free Podcasts available too. He's a powerful writer, and speaker. Tony Dungy's "Quiet Strength" is good too! You'll have to let me know if you read any of them and what you think!
