Re: larry the cable guy roast- greg giraldo
did this shit like JUST air or is still airing?
man people don't waste time putting stuff on youtube.
Btw, it absolutely disgusts me that Larry the Cable Guy got a Roast... he was kind of funny the first time I saw him, after that, not so much

Greg Giraldo was the funniest...and then when Larry talked at the end that was hilarious too. Warren Sapp laughed at his own jokes too much.
This was probably my least favorite roast though because like Greg Giraldo said, they were roasting a character so it's kinda hard to take the personal shots.
His wife is freakin hot by the way!Skol Vikings! Go Cubs!

Sapp was funny though. I loved his comment about Lisa Lampanelli's pussy being like his limo...

It has a leather interior, 8 guys can be in in at the same time & he came in it before the show.

Originally the Roasts were to honor the best comedians and the most successful, by making fun of them.
Granted I guess Larry is really successful, it just disgusts me that he is :P imo he's the least funny of the "Blue Collar Comedians"

They have been roasting people since 1950, and they only do one per year.
It is actually an honor to be roasted, and their motto is "We only roast the ones we love."
Usually one of their best friends serves as the Roastmaster for the event.
Between 1998 and 2002, the roasts were aired on Comedy Central.
After 2002, they were no longer aired on Comedy Central, so Comedy Central created their own show, Comedy Central Roasts.
This is not the same thing, they are capitolizing on the success of the Friar's club, and they do several per year.
The last person to be roasted by the Friar's club was Matt Lauer from the Today Show, and it was awesome with Al Roker serving as the Roastmaster.Zeus wrote:
