I went and it was nice. The crowd made it kind of awkwad with random standing ovations and poorly timed applause but the ceremony was very nice. Gardenhier, Dan Gladden, Hrbek, and Al Newman gave the speeches that everyone got all choked up about. Cal Ripkin was very classy and appropriate. They showed a few videos that were really good, mostly of plays that we have all seen a hundred times the past week. They also showed him doing the top ten list on Lettermen and everyone laughed. John Gordon did a great job as emcee. A gospel choir did a half hour rendition of the national anthem. A lot of former players were in attendance and I would estimate the crowd at about 15,000-20,000.

After, I went to Ike's for a beer and sat accross the bar from Jim Marshall. Not sure if he was at the ceremony.
