I was my dad's remote when I was a kid, move the rabbit ears, only 2 channels on the old black and white TV, and then the day we got a 3rd channel and later color TV :cheers: I was the remote for that too, but I had to fine tune the color for my dad who was color blind, use to drive my mom nuts

I barely remember rabbit ears. I do remember the big TVs that sat on the ground that had wood around them. They looked like they had drawers, but they didn't really open.

I just reviewed the list. I was born in 1949 and remember all of them. I never was home in the summer, had to be in when the streetlights came on.
Once I almost fell out of the car! I was asleep in the backseat, and my foot opened the door, my dad reached back and grabbed me until he stopped the car. It had no seatbelts, it was an old Studebaker. :lol:

No, dang it! I had a boy name picked out all those years, and never got to use it! The girls won't use it for their boys either. :???:

What a bunch of jerk daughters you have (for not using your boy's name). My gfs dad had three daughters before he finally had a boy. He said they would've kept having kids until he finally had a boy!
