Bad trade in my opinion...where is he going to play? outfield ?...Griff is so old he farts dust...sure he can hit the occasional homer but
he is a definite liability in the field.

Griffey was(past tense) one of the best to ever play the game but he is looooooonnnngggggg past his prime.

He is going to have to play in the field, because Thome can't play in the field...you gonna bench Thome for Griffey?...or Konerko?...I know Paul is slumping badly, but he's getting a lot of coin just to collect splinters.

Have you seen Griff play the field lately?...its not a pretty sight.....I heard they were planning on playing him in center field ....the only thing I have to say about that is LMAO

Bad fielding homerun hitters seems to be what the Sox like.

Sounds like the plans are Griffey in center, Swisher to 1B and Paulie ridin' the pine ($12 mil to sit on your butt...not a bad gig)

Yes 1 game against the lowly Royals, against a pitcher that has been less than stellar, proves to me it was a great trade.

I wasn't saying that Griff is useless, I was just merely stating what a bad fit he is for the Sox..the Sox's GM made this trade just to be making a trade IMHO...time will tell.
