Well, you get to actually meet the gals and present the plaque.
That appears to be a nice fringe benefit to me...
I do not get to meet them or present...at least not like I would like to.
It's all done through the US Postal service.
I tried hard last year to get permission to have it hand delivered to her at the Vikings office or the last game, but their security on the girls is pretty tight.
This year I was just fortunate that Tami was willing to get her the award so I did not have to find a relative of the winner out there who was willing to have it sent to them to get to her.
Maybe as the years go on, the organization will loosen just enough to allow PP.O reps a chance to personally present the award to her.
That's one reason whay I ask that we try to be as "professional" about all this as we can be so we are seen as a non threat to the ladies and that we are all pretty cool fans that they meet every year and have their picture taken with anyway...so why not...right?
    I'll keep working on it.

Maybe in the future see if you can present it at the Viking's arctic blast snowmobile rally then it would be at an official function.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

When is the BLAST? That might be OK.
Do all the ladies show up at that function?
Which group shows up for it...the new group each yeare or the old group?

The arctic blast is Feb 10th 2007 at Eddy's resort.

I am assuming the same cheerleaders from this season will be there.
