Katie M. to recieve her 2006 MVC Survivor Award!

Katie's plaque award has been sent to her and should arrive in Eden Prairie by Saturday at the latest.
This year, we have the honor of having their head lady, Ms. Tami Krause, to help us get the award in Katie's hand.
She has also told me that she will get a photo or two to me of Katie M. with it.

I have attahced the engraver's proof of the actual award she will recieve and once again...it looks even more beautiful etched into the black marble.

I will post anything I recieve with our 2006 winner and her award I get.

That appears to be a nice fringe benefit to me...

AV, thanks for the time and effort you put into promoting and coordinating the contest. It's nice to see the girls get some fan appreciation and helps get the fans a little more involved with the club as well.

I do not get to meet them or present...at least not like I would like to.
It's all done through the US Postal service.
I tried hard last year to get permission to have it hand delivered to her at the Vikings office or the last game, but their security on the girls is pretty tight.
This year I was just fortunate that Tami was willing to get her the award so I did not have to find a relative of the winner out there who was willing to have it sent to them to get to her.
Maybe as the years go on, the organization will loosen just enough to allow PP.O reps a chance to personally present the award to her.
That's one reason whay I ask that we try to be as "professional" about all this as we can be so we are seen as a non threat to the ladies and that we are all pretty cool fans that they meet every year and have their picture taken with anyway...so why not...right?
I'll keep working on it.
