Thread: Kanye West vs 50 Cent on 9-11

That’s right. Kanye West and 50 Cent will each be releasing their third solo album on the same day!

All you hip hop heads, which cd will you be purchasing on Sept 11th???
I'll be picking up the Kanye myself.
I think he's an excellent artist on multiple levels and 50's garbage.
Can't wait to see what happens.

So if anybody has intentions of purchasing one of the two or both let me know, I'm highly interested to see which way most people lean these days.

50 Cent is a joke, and I wonder if any rap fans actually still respect him or his music.
He'll probably have a CD with one or 2 club songs with the rest being garbage.

Kanye West's second album was a bit of a letdown considering how great his first one was, but it was still a solid CD.
I'm actually looking forward to this one.

I'm not a huge rap fan, but I enjoyed Get Rich or Die Trying more than I liked Late Registration.

And I liked College Dropout way more than 50s shit second album.

But if it came down to Get Rich or Die Trying vs. College Dropout..... I'd go with College Dropout just to listen to, and GRODT to listen to while playing video games where you shoot people.

Late Registration was too political and it got really annoying.
The Massacre was just terrible.


So on Sept. 11th, I'd have to choose Kanye. Although I don't really like the single off of this album, Stronger.

Haha, and you can shoot someone is the foot 9 times without killing them, it's just as important where you hit them.

Kanye always does good music, I voted him on the poll.

I probably won't buy either, 50 gets old after listening to the album a few times and if there's a song or two I like I'll get it off iTunes.

P.P.S. I have nothing to back that up, but ever since he said The President doesn't care about black people for no reason I make random disparaging comments about him out of context.
Did I mention he doesn't pay his taxes?

50 been my favorite rapper since I heard his first couple songs, yeh he slowed down but no need to change rappers.
