Re: Kanye West...PO'ed at Bush!
Kanye West is a sick rapper, anyone check out his latest CD? That joint is bumpin'.
In other news, he is entitled to his opinion, and there is some truth in what he says.
I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Is that why NM Gov. Bill Richardson called up nearly 400 New Mexico Army National Guard members to help in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort today? I hope your kidding. Louisiana is the only state without any Army National Guard troops because of Iraq? I don't think so.No National Guard in Louisiana to help them....they are all stuck in Iraq!
Sen. Christopher "Kit" Bond, R-Mo., dismissed any link between Iraq and delays getting the Guard involved in New Orleans.
"I've heard that claim made, but that's complete baloney," Bond said. "Sixty-five percent of Louisiana's Guard members were available, and 60 percent of Mississippi's were available. There's still far more Guardsmen and women available than are overseas."
Asked why out-of-state Guard units didn't come to the gulf earlier, Bond said Missouri's troops were "in place and ready to move" but "they weren't requested."

By the way, all National Guard can be called in to place by federal mandate at any time, they are a state run insitution unless in times of EXTREME duress.

Kanye West is entilted to his opinion (now matter how stupid it is), but I think he's a m*ron (d*mn censor).

I was being facetious...I know that two-thirds of the LA National Guard is still available. BUT the fact remains that our resources have been stretched thinner than they should be by our continuing war in Iraq...and at some point we need to reassess what is most important to OUR citizens. The response to this disaster was not what most people wanted...and someone is gonna take the blame...usually those in office, so Bush is gonna have to take the good with the bad. No bashing, just the way that life is."cajunvike" wrote:
