In this time of national disaster, it's a shame politics has to enter into this at all.
There is plenty of blame to go around on both the Democrat and Republican side.
The strange thing is, they talk about the federal delay...well the Louisina state constitution says that the Governor and the head of statewide disaster are responsible for ALL aid and calling in the National Guard if necessary. They are the ones who dropped the ball originally and why the Feds didn't immediately get involved.
And what about the N.O. Mayor who kept refugees from getting on a bus so he could get his staff and the staff of a hotel on board when they were dry, warm, and had some food and water. Now that's a disgrace.

It's cool if he feels that way, but I think he put himself above the relief efforts and the entire cause and just wanted to attract attention to himself....LIKE ALWAYS.

No National Guard in Louisiana to help them....they are all stuck in Iraq!
