Just wanted to say goodbye to someone dear to me...

My uncle Thomas Shockman died today of cancer - he was 87. Like my father (and his 12 brothers and sisters), he was a farmer first, a husband and father, and an all-around good guy. I will miss you Thomas.

Here is a clip from 1987, one with my father and his brothers and sisters talking about growing up on the farm in LaMoure, ND. My uncle is the first one in the clip, and my father Ken (who passed away Nov. of 1992) is the one about halfway through, wearing glasses, a vest and a light blue/green bow tie and cummerbund.

Hope you all pardon my indulgence in remembering him, and my father...These guys really knew how to tell stories...

My condolences, Shock. Thanks for sharing the video, salt of the earth right there. I loved the story about "Get your teats ready, here I come".
