You can do a preview to see if it works just by simply hitting the "preview" button instead of "submit". :wink:

This was a bit confusing. I tried using html code, but it seams that php doesn't like to play well with html.

Sigs do not even need to be tested. Look in your profile or at one of your posts. When you change your sig it is attached to every post you have ever made.
I have had a dozen or so sigs. My current sig is on my very first post I ever made. If I change my sig, then it changes on all 15,000+ posts.
