Just Got Back From The World Cup!

I know there's already a World Cup thread here but I'm a shameless self-promoter who frankly is seeking attention for the fact I just got back from a weekend in Germany..

Oh yeah, who would have thought that Trinidad and Tobago v Sweden would be such a quality game?! You think 0-0 games would be boring, but this was anything but!! Sweden laid seige to Trinidad's goal but Shaka Hislop and Brent Sancho were absolutely OUTSTANDING!! I don't know if it was picked up by the tv crews, because the Trini fans were quite spread out, but the Trini fans were chanting and dancing the WHOLE GAME!! It was incredible to be a part of, and something I'll never forget.

F***ing spectacular!

I have to say, the Germans know EXACTLY what they're doing with this tournament, the stewards were fantastic and the police was brilliant, I didn't even know they were there! They did exactly what was necessary, and stood back and let the fans enjoy themselves. I can't say enough praise for the organisation on their part.

Fantastic.. Absolutely fantastic!!

Anyway, photos will be forthcoming, I'll do them tomorrow when I've had some sleep!

Sounds awesome. I can't imagine how crazy it would be to be there. You get an idea of the atmosphere on tv, but it probably doesn't come close. To make the weekend even better for you, England got the W. You should have bought me a plane ticket, and a ticket for the game!

Benet, I am assuming you wentto the England game as well, were frustrated especially in the 2nd half with their performance?
