Re: Josh Beckett throws at Abreus head
I like Beckett, but that was bush. I am in favor of the "purpose" pitch, but that was totally wrong...time was called, he probably figured he could throw it hard and in without any consequence. But you don't call out the opposing team...stay on the mound and pitch.

Re: Josh Beckett throws at Abreus head
The Red Sox are the Patriots of MLB, of course he didn't get ejected. What harm is there in thowing a 100-mph fastball at someone's head then yelling at the ump about it?
I don't see a problem...Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Cat and mouse,......
Pitcher doesn't like the signs the catcher is throwing down....
Batter gets tired of standing in there.......
Catcher and Pitcher get on the same page.......
Batter calls time at the last minute......
Pitcher takes it out on the batter.......
Got no problem with it.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

And then for him to approach the plate is just bullshit, he was the one who provoked it, he doesn't get to charge.

Exactly the point... He threw the fastball at the head... He is the initial one that was yelling and approached the plate... He should have been ejected. Without question."Marrdro" wrote:

Nothing better than to see a batter crowd the plate, screw with the pitcher and catcher, and then back out followed by some chin music."Mr" wrote:

Ejecting four Angels for spouting off to the refs? Really? Yet the guy who threw the ball, approached the plate, and spouted off to the refs doesn't get anything?
Because he's a very good pitcher?
BS... favoritism plain and simple.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Say what you will, but MLB must have it's priorities mixed up if 4 Angel players got ejected... they are more concerned with the Ump's feelings I guess.
