I dunno...he DID get his ass kicked by Bruce Dern, of all people, and in front of a bunch of kids, to boot. The Cowboys was a great flick, but I developed a weird kind of dislike for Dern ever since then...I mean, how DARE he??? :wink:

I wouldn't say he got his butt kicked by Dern, Dern shot him from behind, and the Duke didn't even have his gun pulled, he was tired of wastin his time with that skinny punk, never liked Dern after that either, what a weasel. I like the Duke and Eastwood, don't know which one I like more for sure, but I'm gonna have to go with John Wayne, but one thing is for sure, there will never be another like either of them.

Well of course we are talking the hypathetical battle here.I don,t know I like em both.In my mind they pound on each other for awhile,niether giving quarter.Then,they decide this is going nowhere and kick the favre out of everyone else in the bar.Then everyone in the street.They go to the bar of thier choosing,Clint buys the Duke a bottle of whiskey,the Duke buys Clint a cheap blonde(not sondra locke)and the Duke ask Clint,whats with that freaking monkey...
