Thread: Jessica Alba just needs to give in and do a nude scene...

This an excerpt from a recent interview:

For those who were disappointed by Jessica Alba's prim stripper character in "Sin City" (and by "prim," we mean she kept her clothes on), take heart. The men's mag staple says she's willing to reconsider her stand against doffing her duds onscreen, but only for the right role -- and only if her dad doesn't find out. "I'm going to have to face that when a big director who I really respect has an amazing story, it might be necessary to do a nude scene," Jessica tells Britain's Zoo magazine (via the New York Post). "But I probably couldn't sleep well at night being naked in [a movie]. My father would lose his mind." For now, the actress is just trying to find a role that doesn't require her to lather up. "The scripts I get are always for the whore, or the motorcycle chick in leather, or the horny maid," she explains. "I get all those screenplays that start, 'Tawnya is in the shower. The water streams down her naked, perky breasts.' Somehow, I don't think this is happening to Natalie Portman."

I HATE it when hot actresses refuse to do nude scenes...BUT they continue to do racy photo shoots and "almost" nude scenes...they either need to go all the way or wear turtlenecks and long pants!!!

Yes, It's horrible.. I didn't know a word to put there.. haha.. Just know it's the worst when it shows like 90 percent of skin but still not enough!

I think a lot of great movies were made without the necessity of seeing the actors naked. We didn't have to see Scarlet O'Hara in Gone With The Wind naked and taking a shower in order for it to be a great movie. If that movie were made today there would probably be a nude scene or at least a wet see through dress and some titty flash. It has nothing to do with making good movies and everything to do with "sex sells". I respect Alba for her decision. I think there is way too much gratuitous sex in movies and TV these days. Catherine Hepburn never had to do a nude scene in order to be one of the best actresses ever. And she was a looker.
Besides not seeing it all is a lot sexier than the mystery being gone. IMO
