Jersey question

I want to add to my old school Vikings jersey collection with a Steve Jordan road jersey but I can only get the new jersey style on NFL shop is there a way to get the old jersey style back?

Just buy the new one, roll around in a dirt ball playing lot for a couple of days and wash it for 2 more days with some nails and screws and it should come out looking like an old school jersey.... :lol:

Watch eBay for old throwbacks.

Also eBay has a site called "Want it Now" where you can post your wants & sellers will contact you.

I did a google, but came up empty.

My only other suggestion is to buy a blank throwback & yhen have the name & numbers sewn on at a custom jersey shop.

im lookin for the new vikings jersey, its hard to get a hld especially since i live in miami.. cant wait till it gets on ebay at a reasonable price.. guess have to wait till the season starts.

There was a guy in texas that had old style blanks on e-bay....
I bought a few through the So-Cal viking club.
You might try contacting Phil Pusateri (pres) of the club. He might still have the contact.

It's really easy to make an old school jersey.

Go on ebay and buy a road jersy like this...

Then all you have to do is take off all the letters and numbers AND YOU NEED TO TAKE OFF THE VIKING PATCHES FROM THE SLEEVES !!!

Buyer beware-
On ebay there are ALOT of bogus "authentic" jerseys that can be easily identified. A real "authentic" jersey has the vikings PATCHES on the sleeves. The fake "authentic" jerseys have the viking SEWN INTO the jersey. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAP !!! Before you bid on one, email the seller and ask about this.

Once you have removed all the #'s, letters, and patches take it to a shop that does personalized "tackle twill" numbering and lettering and have them put #83 & Jordan on it in PURPLE ONLY!! Be sure to tell them you want "Block" lettering and #'s !!!

Make sure to tell them to put the 3" #'s on the SLEEVES, NOT THE SHOULDERS !!!!!!!

That's it...

It'll come out like this....
