That's kinda funny, because I think that I spent more time with the doctor checking things out than I did holding my wife's hand.

It's actually one of the greatest things in the world to witness.

Hate to burst your "it's a girl" bubble, but after having 5 girls of my own I can swear the ultrasound can be wrong! Boys have been known to hide their pertinent parts in modesty during the picture taking!

But congrats on the baby! You will enjoy every minute!

True.

My brother and his wife did not have the doctor tell them if their first-born was a boy or girl.
The looked at the ultrasound themselves and were 100% convinced it was a girl.
They had the names to pick from and clothes, decorations, etc.

Well, she turned out to be a he!
They were scrambling for names!

I watched my ex-wife give birth to my youngest daughter by Ceaserian C-section & then the doctor gave me a tour of her body while he did a tubulation.

I was in awe. Witnessing your child being born is absolutely incredible.

Congratulations to you! Great news. Just be advised that the ultrasound told my wife and I our first was to be a girl. When the day came, we found out we had a little boy. Thank goodness we didn't do the whole. "let's buy all the girl things" routine.
