I am with you on this one Anglo.
The statements were obviously prepared.
By all reports the soldiers are not being mistreated, which is good.
By if something happens to one of them, I hope Iran is prepared for the storm that will follow.
Not just from the UK, but from her allies as well.Zeus wrote:

"The MoD also released a photograph of a handheld global positioning satellite device in HMS Cornwall's Lynx helicopter as it flew over the searched merchant vessel."
Cant argue with that.
All the kids my age pee their pants, it's the coolest.

I hope Britain presents the GSP evidence to the World and the UN Security Council that the IRANIANS

the Brit soldiers.
The Iranians have a history of taking hostages for political purposes; e.g. this, and more Brits in 2004, as well as the well-documented 1979 seizure of Americans in the US Embassy in Tehran.
It is rumored that Ahmedinjad was one of the militant students involved in 1979.
Pictures of 'him' in 1979, that I saw a while ago, were unclear, but it certainly looked like him.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

I agree, and America better back the U.K on this. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

A few more point to help clarify this issue...
IIRC, the Geneva Convention mandates that POWs not be humiliated, and such humiliation includes distributing pictures of them in captivity for public viewing.
An interesting thing to note, which is not generally known due to the liberal media unwillingness to publicize it, is that Iranians are far more upset with their government, especially Ahmedinijad, than any other country's populace, including China, N.Korea, and Cuba.
If this is not resolved properly and promptly by Ahmedinijad, a revolution inside Iran may be on the horizon.

The French pussies will not.
If the French get involved, Iran will send 13 men to France and accept the French surrender (they are known for being ball-less pussies).

Iran was boasting that not one foreign soldier that sets foot in Iran will live.
Will I guess somebody needs to tell them that we can destroy their country without stepping foot on it.What we've got here is failure to communicate.
