How did this make it past their QA department. iCrap. Stick with Android!

Well, as long as they will have the iPhone fixed and working better by the time it comes to Verizon I will be OK. I will never go to At&t... worst ever. Anyways I read a rumor about the iPhone making its appearance in Verizon stores come January.

Re:iPhone 4 is GREAT - as long as you dont pick it up
There have been Verizon rumors for a long time and they have never panned out.
FYI, AT&T's initial contract with Apple was a five year contract starting in 2006. That means the iPhone will be exclusively AT&T through 2011. Unless a pending class action law suit in California goes against AT&T & Apple, there is no way that Verizon can get the iPhone before then.
If you are looking for a smart phone on Verizon, why not one of the Droids. I have the Droid Incredible, and I like it much more than the iPhone.Zeus wrote:

The iPhone is a decent phone, and it revolutionized the smart phone market, but it is no longer unique in the market. The higher end android phones have all of the functionality of the iPhone without its limitations. Try and add memory or change the battery on an iPhone and see what you get.
Plus the iPhone itself is a data pig. Part of the reason that AT&T has so many problems keeping up with the data demands of its iPhone users is because the iPhone uses obscene amounts of bandwidth for even that smallest applications.
The android phones aren't without their own limitations - such as a quickly revolving OS model and increased risk from unregulated applications, but phone for phone, I would recommend the Droid Incredible over the iPhone any day.
Note: I wouldn't get a Motorola Droid right now though. The Droid X is coming out in a week, and if you want the physical keyboard, the Droid 2 is coming out shortly afterward.Zeus wrote:

I know, it was a joke. HTC make some nice smartphones, and the droids are pretty good too.i_bleed_purple wrote:

I'd prefer that unregulated apps become available. Its kinda like the PS3 vs. 360 debate. Part of what makes PS3 great is it allows more freedom, like web browsing, etc. whereas 360 handcuffs you.The android phones aren't without their own limitations - such as a quickly revolving OS model and increased risk from unregulated applications, but phone for phone, I would recommend the Droid Incredible over the iPhone any day.
