I was thinking about getting a Tivo, or DVR. Mainly to record all the games and such. Now, how much does it cost monthly for this? Is it worth it? How many games can I record before I run out of room? If I do run out of room, can a burn or do something with the games I have recorded?

I have it and it rocks. 12,95 a month...you can get the *real* Tivos in 40 GB and I think 80 GB. Well worth the money, it will change the way you watch TV.

Ok, through Directv it is $5.99 a month.

They have a special for existing customers. $149 for a DVR and then you get a $100 rebate. So only $49!

Ok guys, I am not going to get a DVR. Instead I am going to get a DVD Recorder and just put all the games on DVD right from the start.

Then I can hook another DVD player up to that and burn copies and take peoples money like Pharoah did! JK! :lol:

you should buy lots of DVD-RW those are awesome to record these preseason games and erase them for the next game. u can also record tv shows.

I am going to record the entire season on different discs.

So I will have chronicalled every game on our road (and win) to the Super Bowl!

i have a DVD Recorder. its freakin sweet. record movies and all kinds of things. but a pack of DVD-R's is expensive.

He with your DVD-R, can you hook-up another DVD player and record from one to the other?

How much did you pay for yours?

i think mine was like almost 300 dollars. i never tried hooking up DVD player to DVD player.
