No need reading the article. All I can say is this...dont you need to be a person to imagine that? How dumb can this get? Lets just say, if there were no people there would be no imagination.

The memory he was referring to was actally a reference to all the crap living things (people, in particular) leave behind.

I highly doubt he thinks the Earth has a mind.
