    An idea for the NFL

    I watched the end of the NFL Europe game between Amsterdam and Barcelona (in A'dam) and they showed on the screen that NFL Europe has a rule in which a team gets four points for successfully kicking a field goal that is fifty yards or longer. It may be cool to see this rule implemented in the NFL. The only difference should be that it must be fifty-five yards or longer. It may make some close games even more interesting. Of course, some purists may think I'm nuts but I think it is something that could be looked into for future seasons. Coaches don't like to see that long of a field goal attempt, but if it means a chance to win, some of them will try it.
