I will be voting at about 3pm when I pick up my wife.... I wish the election was in a month.... then I could vote in MN instead of WI.

Anyone from MN.... what was actually on the ballot for the stadium?

    Thanks Lotza!

    Re: I Voted.

Essay's are killing me, but I voted!

    (rant on)....
My latest b!tch is my freedom of choice is being taken away!! Check this out...http://www.savemychannels.com. Contact your two Senators and your Representative..call the number to complain, I did. Next it will be my Viking games!!

All I have is CBS right now in the major networks! I refuse to pay for the local channels that never show what I want to watch anyway!!!

Another gripe is why can't I pay for and receive any local stations I want (like the Twin Cities)? Maybe I'm from there and want local news for cripes sake!! I feel like this is turning into a Socialist country where they say what I can, and can't watch!!.... (rant off)

Thanks for letting me get that off my mind!

    Re: I Voted.

I voted this morning as the polls opened! I love voting...not sure why. I enjoy doing my civic duty and expressing how I feel. It's a shame that so many young people are apathetic!

I was thinking about voting again, that way I can cancel out the vote of some dead guy in Philadelphia....but we won't get into that.

    Voted here too.

    Civic duty is good!

    It was not very busy.
I thought I would be standing in line for quite some time.

There was nothing specific on the ballot for the stadium.
However, all state representative and senator seats are being voted upon today, and you could take the position that you only want to support pro-stadium candidates.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    Re: I Voted.

I do my civic duties every day of my life.
I work all the time and with that money they receive my taxes which is a very civil duty.
Voting for one dumb ass out of two dumb asses, that are not going to change a damn thing is a waste of my time and energy.
Now what I think would be cool is if NOBODY voted.
All these guys care about is getting office to be a control freak and get paid well in the process.
    Screw Voting!

I wish there had been something regarding a new stadium to vote on.

It only took about 10 minutes and I was back on the road again.

So paying taxes is OK, but then you don't give a shit who is in control of your hard earned tax money? : And you, know... every ballot has a spot to write someone's name in if you don' tlike either dumb ass, er candidate.
You could even run yourself and be one of the dumb ass's people are voting on.

Believe it or not, not every single politican is a corrupt, power hungry, control freak.
Especially at the city and county level.
Some of them are actually in politics because they want to affect change.
