I need help finding someone...it's an emergency!
One of my former neighbors is in the hospital with heart problems, stable but serious condition. None of his friends can get ahold of his daughter or any other relatives to let them know what is happening. I am hoping that someone here has the type of connections that can locate his family. I have tried to look up last names and other types of information that might give me the phone numbers that I need. Unfortunately, his daughter and her husband recently moved so the information that he left with us is no longer valid.
If ANYONE here can help me with this problem, I would be very grateful. He is a Vietnam veteran (two tours in 'Nam) and he deserves all the help that he can get.
Re: I need help finding someone...it's an emergency!
Try VA State Police. Explain situation and they can do a search or contact State Police in their New home.

Also try Veterans Administration. They recently found me and I've moved about 6 times since I got out and NEVER updated records with them.
Re: I need help finding someone...it's an emergency!
If neither of these work, let me know I may have other options.
Re: I need help finding someone...it's an emergency!
I wouldn't know where to start either, but the local VA may have records on him and his nearest relatives, also the State Police may help....
I'de start with those two myself......

He is originally from around Pittsburgh PA and his daughter's last known address was in a town near there. I will try to contact the PA State Police and see if that leads anywhere. Also, I will check with the VA on Monday. Thanks for the input, sleepagent.
Keep the ideas coming though.

Caj, PM me a name and I'll see if I can find her.

The VA got our addresses from the IRS. They may not give it out.
In the case of a medical emergency the police organizations are probably the best bet.
It's hard to hide in this day and age.
God bless and prayers to a fellow Vietnam vet.

You can also try and see if they left a forwarding address with the Post Office . . . if you have their old address.
