I have a job interview at an Irish Pub

They are pretty much starting over with the menu and I would be helping to create menu items and recipes.

Anybody know any good Irish-inspired/fusion food.
Or even just good pub food.

I should be well qualified for the job,
I just don't have much experience with Irish cuisine.

The menu already looks good to me.

    Any ideas?

Outside of Sheppard's pie and corned beef, I really don't have any experience either.
The menu looks pretty good to me too though.

    Good luck with the interview!

Not much help either even though I am 1/3 Irish.

Good luck with the interview though. ;D

    Good luck with the interview.

Tell them thats one hell of a menu, ALMOST every Irish table fare covered.

Except, one, and it's a TRUE Irish Favorite.
Just like Chinese food here, which you can't find most of in China itself.
Irish food dishes are more Americanized than one would think.

Like corned beef, thats not even an Irish dish, try to find it in Ireland, you won't.

But the number one item not on the menu, that is truly Irish food is.........LAMB

    Lamb Stew and Lamb Pie.....

Add those to the list and you'll really be drawing in the mick's of the world......

    hahahahahaha

Just infuse EVERYTHING with Irish whiskey and you will be just fine!
    LOL

But seriously, check out the Internet...and buy up every Irish cookbook you can find...then just tweak the traditional recipes a bit and you will come out looking like a genius!!!

    GOOD LUCK!!!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

    Good job to get !
I'll have a word with an irish guy to see what he suggests but I'll ad few suggestions as well.. having visited a few in my time.

That's one thing you can be sure of, that wherever you go in the world you can always find an Irish pub ! I've visited some in Tokyo, Helsinki, Paris, Milan .. all have been good
    ;D

    Thanks guys.
I have a couple of my own recipes.
Mulligan Stew (lamb) and Reuben Chowder (pretty darn good).
I was trying to come up with some sort of Irish spring roll or something (kinda like a reuben spring roll)
