I had a feeling my luck would change soon...
Went to wal-mart with the wife and son today.
After picking up a new printer-scanner-copier, and some accesories for my digital camera, we where just about to leave when I see this 32" Sony Trinitron TV sitting on a dolly.....
Well the guy that just helped me with some answers (dept.mng...) about the printer, I ask, whats up with the TV....It was marked $300....
He said it was a display model that was sold and returned, returned because the horizontal hold wouldn't stay put...
But then he says, it just came back from being repaired, and is for sale. Then he says, would you like it? I said maybe, he said hold on, picks up the phone and calls the store mgr........After a second, looks at me and says, I can have it for $150...Plus they will give me a 90 day store warrenty and a 1 year manufactor warrenty......
My wife at that point, pushed me aside, and sat on the dolly with the tv...LOL...
I just had to bye a remote for it $12.00 and thats it, got it home and works fine so far, and looks great with my Dish Net........
I just hope my MRI results are as good a news.....The rotary cuff, another story, looks like the knife is going to get me..

Oh I love that story! I like to buy things that are "Open Box" or are returned. You save so much money! And it all works the same. Last year I bought a tv for my room for 119.....regular price....299.... Has worked perfect since day 1! Good buy man and good luck on the MRI!

Great purchase Ned, one my friends was at Sam's Club and they had a 60" flatscreen TV that was a display model and he bought it for $900. I was so mad because I wanted one for that price too.

Only sad part was he told me when done, just last week , they sold 2 52" TV's that where display models for $500 each..
Didn't really bother me though, that would have been to big for our room.....
Plus my wife Margie, wouldn't have had room on that dolly to sit...LOL....
