I think Chuck is holding me up because as soon as I put my arm around him, I thought I would just melt and fall to the floor.
It's the pic I show to people who don't know me well in which I tell them he is my husband.
The reactions I get are priceless.
Wish we could break the race barrier.

Anyway, thanks for the compliment on the other pics.
Have no idea why I wasn't smiling.

Thanks for the memories, Chuck - 5,879 rushing yards - you rushed your way into our hearts.

BTW, saw an interesting interview with Sir Francis - he says they tend to just talk about all of his east to west rushing/scrambling, but forget how many records he broke.
What a guy.
I'd love to meet him, and Bud Grand too.

I was living in a town called Norwich, CT at the time (Hubby was military). We had a sportingoods store at the Norwichtown Mall.
That's where the signing was.
He drew a pretty decent crowd.
They also had Zach Thomas there awhile back.
I was going to get his autograph for my Dolphins BIL fan but the line was long and from what I saw, Zach was not even paying attention to the fans (ignore fan, scribble name, send fan off).
He was too busy talking to the store owners.
I got disgusted and left.
