Something I recieved in my in box this morning.
I would also ask that you keep our "First Responders" (Doctors/Nurses/EMT's/Police/Fireman etc) in your thoughts as well.Quote:
As we prepare to celebrate the 235th anniversary of our independence, I ask you to pause for a moment and reflect on the true meaning of this historic day. At the heart of a free and independent republic are values and ideals worth defending. The men who signed the Declaration of Independence staked their lives, fortune, and sacred honor to the cause of freedom.
Throughout our history, our Nation has fulfilled the Founding Fathers' goal of independence because our citizens have answered the call to serve something greater than themselves. Today, we have troops in harm’s way around the globe, working to ensure we on the home front are protected. Their families share in that sacrifice and we honor their commitment to our freedom. I ask that you keep them, our Wounded Warriors, and all our service members in your thoughts through this Independence Day weekend.
Uh-oh!! :laugh:Quote:

Well, day one of 3 complete.
Got really damn lucky. I bought new pants, and these have a loose ass-pocket, so my Wallet doesn't fit right. Dropped it on a sorta sketchy road walking back from the bar. Wake up in the morning, thinking "oh shit, where's my wallet". Call the bars, call everyone I can think of, no luck.
Get a call a couple hours later from the pharmacy on that street. Someone found my wallet on the sidewalk, gave it to the lady at the pharmacy, and they found my number in it and gave me a call. There was no cash in it, but I'm not too worried about that.
Nice to know there are actually decent people still around somewhere. Could very easily have never seen that again and have to replace all my cards.
Now on to day 2!!!!!!
damn that was lucky dude!!.. kinda puts a lil faith back into humanity B)
