Re: Hypothetical question

I thought this would make for a good discussion, guess not, lol.
;D
Re: Hypothetical question
I pick whoever I believe has the best chance of winning, regardless if it's the Vikings or not.

Me too, singer.
But, the reason I asked is because many people believe you aren't a "true fan" if you go against your team.

You're not a true fan.

Yeah, I know it makes no sense to say that Prophet.
But like I said before, I've heard many people say this before. So I was just trying to get some more insight on the topic, I guess it just comes down to whether your bias or not.
Re: Hypothetical question
There is a school of thought that you should always gamble against your favorite team, if they win you are happy but if they lose you have the cash to soften the blow.

It depends on who your favorite team is. If it is the likes of the Raiders, I'd bet against them, but if it's the Patriots, I'd bet for them.
If your team generally wins more than half of it's games, why would you bet against them?
Re: Hypothetical question
After the injury report comes out on Thursday, you've got to pick accordingly. I hate picking against my Vikes, but for a season long pool bet like you have you have to expect your team to lose a game or two, and should pick based on home field advantage, injuries, match-up, etc.
Re: Hypothetical question
a True fan would never ask this question as they know they would be a fan, and 250 bucks richer at the end of the year by picking the best option to win!!
and of course spending all 250 bucks on purple merchendise or donating it all to PPO!!
