HS Football Coach - Most Wins
I was reading the USA Today on the pot, which is where I do most of my reading, and they listed the top winningest HS football coaches from each state.
Turns out that Minnesota is Ron Stolski from Brainerd with a record of 287-135-5 in 44 seasons.
Most people wouldn't care about this but I played for him in 1988 and 1989.
Pretty cool.
Anyone else on this site play football for Brainerd?

My parents grew up toward that area. My mom maybe did grow up in Brainerd and my dad is from Staples.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

BTW I hate Staples.
I was in wrestling back then and they were a dynasty back in the 80's.

Ummmm no!! lol I didn't realize staples was a dynasty at anything, they are so small! I know the staples-motley boys basketball team had a pretty good run for a while.

Ok I am old but before they grouped up with Motley, they were State Champions in wrestling for like 6 out of 8 years."VKG4LFE" wrote:

Wow, I didn't realize they won all those state titles. How does a tiny school like that do so well with so few numbers to get athletes from? Oh well good for them.
